7th installment of Silver Lining a Forgotten Dream

Penny & Patrick Rothmann are called down to the police station where their daughter Rosa has been arrested for shop lifting.

At the police station the tensions run high since Isabella Dixon was also arrested. Both sets of parents start blaming the other one's child of being a bad influence. Underneath all the bickering, you can feel the guilt coming from Patrick Rothmann and Ella Dixon for their one night stand, that neither has confessed to yet.

Keea, Cora, Dante, and Chassie Evans have gathered at Valentine's diner to discuss what provoked Rosa to act out in this way; and how this will affect Rosa's up coming Bat Mitz-vah. They are also discussing what this may mean for Cora's and Jasmine's budding relationship.

When Hudson gets his invitation to the masquerade party from Pandora Young he asks her to attend it with him as his date, making Savanna Dixon very jealous.

6th installment

Lysander asks Savanna to come in early for her shift at Style's. He is wondering why her father thinks he slept with her mother.

Heath has been feeling lonely lately, so he decides to hold a masquerade party. He asks Pandora Young  his secretary to make the arrangements.

Jasmine is breaking down to Keea that she doesn't feel pretty enough for Cora to date. Keea tells Jasmine she is thinking of losing her v card to Dante soon.

Dante talks to Chassie about making a romantic date for him and Keea. Chassie talks to him about the idea of Jasmine & Cora possibly dating & feeling like the odd person out.

Isabella starts acting out in school because she feels guilty for stealing. Rosa asks to go to the mall later, and Isabella is afraid she will want to steal again.

Jessica is intrigued to find out what is up with Ella other than just Valen's  sudden interest in everything Ella. She has been acting distracted lately.

Cora & Jasmine's double date went better then expected; they shared their first kiss at the end of it.
Savanna flirts with Hudson while at work at Styles night club.

Patrick & Penny don't have time to deal with him not coming home the other night, since they are both worried their daughter is hanging out with a bad influence as in Isabella. They suspect this because she recently started wearing outfits they didn't buy for her. Little do they realize it's Rosa that is the bad influence.

Valen cautions Ella not to be late to work again, or she'll be fired. Yet, let's her know that if she is having some type of personal problems; he is willing to listen.

Dante's fishing trip was peaceful. Charlie drops him off, feeling confident that he can get Dante and his son Heath to get to know each other. Keea & Chassie Evans went shopping for a dress for Rosa's Bat Mitz-vah.

David Dixon suspecting Lysander Vickerson the owner of Style's of sleeping with his wife, goes to the club and punches the man in the face, winding up in a jail cell.

4th Installment

Patrick Rothmann who has been having a very bad week, with sleeping on the couch decides to go for a few drinks at Style's. While there he encounters Ella Dixon coming to pick up her passed out abusive husband David. He offers to buy Ella a few drink; after while they end up at a hotel having drunk steamy up against the wall sex.

That same night Patricks' wife Penny; visits her friend Jessica Richards to vent about her problems with Patrick. While Jessica talks about her dislike of Valen's sudden interest in what ever Ella is going through.

Dante agrees to go on the fishing trip with Charlie as long as he doesn't bring up Heath Anderson.
After Keea's persistence; Cora ask Jasmine out on a double date with Keea & Dante before he goes on his fishing trip.

Rosa up set at her parents growing friction decides to enlist Isabella in shop lifting.

Valen that morning is worried even more because Ella hasn't showed up for work and it's already 2 hours passed the start of her shift.

3rd installment of Silver Lining a Forgotten Dream

Patrick Rothmann end up sleeping on the couch after Kylie Green informed his wife of his meeting with Heath Anderson. Penny can't understand why he'd give his wife's competition the time of day.

When Keea & Cora way up, Cora confesses to finding Jasmine both sexy & mesmerizing. Keea talks to Cora about bringing Dante to Rosa's Bat Mitz-vah; she suggests Cora ask Jasmine.

Rosa is shocked to find her father on the couch and later at school during lunch she breaks down to Isabella Dixon her fear her parents will divorce.

Valen is concerned about his employee Ella Dixon when she shows up for work with bruises on her arms. She claims to be clumsy but he fears it's something more. Ella is too ashamed to admit she got into it with her husband David the night before.

Savanna asks Hudson out on a date. Charlie asks Dante to go fishing with him this weekend. Dante says he'll think about it. Dante is still upset that he was tricked into spending time with his bio dad on Father's day.

Heath Anderson decides to meet with Patrick Rothmann to see if he will head up some of the up coming projects at Andy's Design Inc.

Heath's proposition puts Patrick at a crossroads; on one hand he wants to stay loyal to his wife and her company on the other hand Heath's offer could be very lucrative for Patrick's own company.

Keea invites Dante out on a date to Style's for a teen night at the club. Chassie Evan's and Cora, Keea's twin also make plans to attend. Chassie also convinces Jasmine to attend with them. Cora thinks Jasmine is sexy.

After Rosa's Bat Mitz-vah lessons she drags Isabella Dixon shopping to pick out her huge wish list for her big Bat Mitz-vah bash.

David Dixon goes to Valentine's drunk and starts ordering his wife Ella to come home and serve him dinner.

Kylie Green Penny Corporations lead decorator, spies Heath and Patrick's meeting at Valentine's and tells her boss Penny Rothmann all about it.

Silver Lining a Forgotten Dream's first official installment

    The Rothmann family decides to take to the Marcella trails on horseback as a family to honor Father's day. Charlie Anderson reluctantly agrees to accompany Heath to the Night Club Style's to celebrate Father's day, but before they attend Charlie asks Heath to join him for lunch at Valentine's Diner where he secretly asked Dante Richards to meet him in hopes of Dante getting to know his biological dad better.

    Hudson takes the night off from bar-tending to enjoy the club with his father Valen, asking his mom Jessica to take over Valen's work at the Diner in his abstinence, so he can enjoy a night out with his dad for Father's day. Dante wants to join after his lunch with what he thinks is just Charlie; but Hudson says he can't because he isn't of age, and just tells Dante to help their mom at the Diner when he finishes his lunch with Charlie.

   Isabella Dixon tries to wake up her father from his almost daily drunken slumber to no avail; so she asks her big sister Jasmine if she'll join her in going to the Diner where their mother Ella works. Jasmine asks Chassie Evans to join them at the Diner. Savanna later at the club where she works as a waitress encounters her father getting drunk and pretends it's an accident she spilled a beer all over him, she also flirts with Hudson when Valen goes to talk on his cell phone outside of the club to hear better.

At the closing time of the Style's night club Lysander Vickerson the night club owner calls David Dixon a cab seeing that once again he is way to drunk to drive.

These are the characters of my fictional town of Marcella, come join me in exploring their lives!!!

        Silver Lining was a working title of a Soap Opera I wanted to create when I was about 14 or 15. I have kept up with all the Soaps since I was a young child, whether that was by reading about them, watching them if I was able too, or as of late watching them via Internet. With Silver Lining I had created several characters and had an initial story ideas for them. After keeping track for years I figured out what seemed to work in the Soap world and what didn't. So my make believe soap had the bad characters (all soaps must have at least one), twins (most soaps back in the day had a set), competing companies, love triangles and characters you route for.

         Yet Soaps seem not to touch on some issues or copy one another; so mine was going to change it up a bit. For one thing my twins where NOT going to be one evil one good but be identical and best of friends. The wealthy family was going to be Jewish (I was born Jewish and a core character let alone whole family is very rare even today on a Soap) and own Penny Corporation a interior decorating successful company (in competition with another successful interior decorating company). My soap was going to have their core families be a mixture of rich families, middle class families and poor families that are on welfare. My story was going to touch on how the three intertwine in the most unsuspecting ways, how a poor family can be just as entertaining as a rich family. I was going to touch on taboo subjects like bi sexuality!(not done on soaps even today or for most part prime time either), abortion (another subjects both prime time and daytime are hesitant with creating story about), welfare (another taboo still today). These are just a few of the stories I wanted to pen for these characters to make my story different then what is already on air or was.

         To help bring the characters to life I had cut out picks from my Soap Opera Digest magazine of the actors or actresses that best fit how I pictured the characters, and put them in a photo album with little descriptions of who the character was in my story, who they where related to and about how old they were. Funny thing is I still have that photo album but not the original script I started to write. I realized I wasn't good a scripting dialog. I am better at writing a story. So I figured I will maybe once again try to have these characters come to life through blogging their story for those that may be interested.
